WHY YOU NEED IT

Breathable color has been tested against traditional lacquers and results showed Breathable is 100% more permeable than traditional lacquer. This means water molecules can easily flow in and out of your natural nail without getting trapped underneath polish. This allows Breathable to stay extra flexible, so it bends with your natural nail instead of chipping off.

ORLY Breathable Treatment + Color is a breathable formula that allows key ingredients to permeate to the nails giving additional hydration and moisture and allowing longer wear.

ORLY’s new Breathable formula borrows an idea from contact lens technology.  The theory is the same; oxygen and hydration (water vapor) pass both ways through the lens, allowing for proper moisture balance. 

What does that mean for nails?

It means that nutrients are able to reach the nail and excess water on the nail is able to escape. Excess water trapped under a  non-breathable polish cause nails to swell leading to chipping and peeling when the nails return to their natural state.

Breathable Treatment + Color is formulated with Argan Oil to moisturize and hydrate and helps to grow healthy, strong nails. Pro- Vitamin B5 offers hydration and nourishment to the nail surface and Vitamin C provides free radical/anti-antioxidant protection.
